The 2017 Motif Competition saw the Textures of one team run a competition for people to suggest a theme for next years exhibition. Local resident Mel Monico connected the dots that 2017’s opening night coincidentally falls on 17th March…. St Patrick’s Day. Hence, we saw it fitting to select the Shamrock as 2017’s motif. It can be any colour, any angle, any size, subtle or obvious, but there must be a 4 leaf clover somewhere within your work.
